- Pallamano 2 Agosto Bologna ASD
Pallamano 2 Agosto Bologna ASD is a sports association founded in 2002 with an excellent male youth category Under 15, Under 14, Under 13 and Under 11. They also have great female categories Under 14, Under 12 and Under 10. Altogether, the association counts 100 athletes. Their best team is winning in the third league championship and has a great chance to go in the second league.
They will participate at the 5th Koper Cup in the male category 2003 and 2004 and the female category 2004 and 2006.
- ZRK Branik
In 1925, female representatives first wrote the history of handball in Maribor. On the 21st of July, 1925, a group of enthusiastic athletes named SSK Maribor played their first official match in the so-called hazen (Czech word for handball). The players from Maribor won against the players of Murska Sobota.
The RK BRANIK club operates under the patronage of ZMŠD BRANIK, which will celebrate its 100th anniversary next year. The club is included in the league competition at the Handball Association of Slovenia.
They will participate at the 5th Koper Cup in female category (2001, 2004 and 2005).
RD Moškanjci Gorišnica
In 2009 the mini-handball training for young boys has begun, which slowly progressed in participation in the youth categories. Their first coach was Benjamin Kovačec, and since 2010 Drago Ranfl coaches them. From the beginning, they participated in all age categories that the Handball Federation of Slovenia announces.
They train four times a week or depends on how much school or other activities they have. They also participated in international handball tournaments in Prague, Zagreb and Belgrade.
At the 5th Koper Cup, they will compete with the cadets born 2001 and younger. They decided to participate at the 5th Koper Cup because they wish a good handball game and a pleasant gathering which the tournament offers.
The GKL Waldviertel is a syndicate between Moser Medical UHK Krems and USV Langenlois Handball and comes from Lower Austria.
In 2012, the clubs decided to set up this syndicate to better establish and promote women's handball in our region.
Currently more than 100 girls and more than 150 boys are playing in the gaming community. In the season 2018/2019 they participate with 7 female teams in competitions. In the female youth sector are represented in the categories U18W, U14W, U12W, U11, U10W and U9W.
They will participate in the Koper Cup in the category female 2006 and 2007.
HSG REMUS Bärnbach / Köflach
The HSG REMUS Bärnbach / Köflach consists of the two clubs HC Bärnbach and HC Köflach, which merged in 1992. In club there are girls and boys teams with about 180 children fighting for the championship titles in Styria.
They will participate in the 6th Koper Handball Cup with 2 teams in the categories Girls 2002 and 2005.
ROKOMETNI KLUB GORENJE VELENJE
The tournament in Koper will be attended by three selections of the Gorenje Velenje Handball Club: younger boys A and B and older boys B. The Velenje club puts great emphasis on the development of individual technique and personal growth. It is important that players are interlinked, respected and maturing in responsible personalities. The primary goal of the season selections is to play each game at a maximum and to show the level of positive fightingness and to show on the parquet the elements that young Velenje sharks learn at the training. Good work and a positive approach to training and competitions ultimately bring about good results.
RK Duplje - Radovljica
Under the name of RK Duplje - Radovljica they play a good year, there have already been on tournaments in Hrastnik Zasavje cup 2018, tournament in Monoštor in Hungary 2018 and Pokijev tournament in Celje 2019. They will take part in the mini 2008 category with one team and in category 2009 mini with two teams. They are looking forward to the first meeting at the Koper Cup 2019.
RD ALPLES ŽELEZNIKI
For the third consecutive year, the Alples Železniki club also take part in the Koper Hadndball Cup. This time, the tournaments will be attended by players of the year 2007 and younger with the coach Rok Završnik.
RD RIKO RIBNICA
The generation of the years 2002 and 2003 has been very successful in the past, since they were ranked 3x of the MDB category in the Final national championship, and in 2016 they became national champions in the SDB category. They are led by Stojan Gelze, a goalkeeper.
For the 2004 and 2005 generation, the competition was not so successful, but there are some very talented boys who are led by our two-time Olympian and one of the handball players with the most appearances for the Slovenian National Team Tomaž Tomšič.
The 2006 and 2007 generations successfully demonstrate their potential by qualifying for the semi-finals of the national championship. Handball skills teach them Janez Ilc.
